The Art Talent Quest, held on Friday, 27th February at the Botanical Gardens in Seychelles, was a landmark occasion as the first edition for Primary Schools in the Northern Region. Organized by the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development in collaboration with the Office of the First Lady, the event provided a vibrant platform for young artists to showcase their creativity through painting, drawing, and other visual arts. The Botanical Gardens offered a serene and inspiring backdrop, symbolizing growth and imagination, while the initiative highlighted the importance of nurturing artistic expression among the youth.
At the close of the event, the winners were announced: third place went to Anse Etoile Primary School, second place was awarded to Glacis Primary School, and first place was proudly claimed by La Retraite Primary School. This competition not only celebrated individual talent but also underscored the collective spirit of creativity, reinforcing the role of education and national leadership in fostering cultural development and empowering future generations.
In his remarks, Minister Pierre commended the creativity and dedication of the participants, emphasizing the value of arts in education and personal development. The Ministry also expressed appreciation to all schools, teachers, and students who contributed to the success of this event.
