H.E. Mr. Sakuta Makoto, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister for Education and Human Resource Development at the Ministry’s headquarters on 15th December. The meeting provided an opportunity to reaffirm the strong partnership between Japan and the Ministry while exploring new avenues of cooperation in the education sector.
Discussions centered on the continuation of exchange programmes to promote cultural and academic collaboration, as well as training and capacity-building initiatives designed to strengthen the skills of educators and administrators.
Both parties also emphasized the importance of integrating life skills programmes into the curriculum to better prepare students for future challenges, while highlighting the potential of artificial intelligence to transform teaching and learning practices. In addition, the Ambassador expressed Japan’s commitment to supporting broader areas of educational development.
