Dr. Nathalie Regina Duval paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Education and Human Resource Development

Dr. Nathalie Regina Duval paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Education and Human Resource Development on 8th May,to discuss her potential contributions to the future development of Seychelles’ education sector. The session was also attended by the Minister for Employment and Human Resource Planning Ms. Idith Alexander.
Dr. Duval has recently completed her studies in Japan under the prestigious MEXT scholarship. Beginning in 2020 with a six-month Japanese-language preparatory course, she went on to earn a Master’s degree in Education from the Graduate School of Education at Naruto University of Education in Tokushima in 2023. She then pursued her PhD in the International Education Development Programme at Hiroshima University’s Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, earning her degree in March 2026. Her exceptional performance was recognized with Hiroshima University’s Excellent Student Award for fiscal year 2025.
Her achievements are a testament to resilience, excellence, and international collaboration. We extend heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Duval and look forward to the ways her expertise will strengthen and advance the education system in Seychelles.
