The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development welcomed the generous donation of a digital screen by Seychelles Commercial Bank (SCB) to English River Secondary School, presented as part of the Bank’s 45th Anniversary celebrations. The ceremony held on Friday 26th June brought together management and staff of SCB and English River school as well as Ministry officials.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Justin Zelime, Principal Secretary for General Education and Curriculum, thanked SCB for its support and noted that the donation would strengthen digital learning in schools. He emphasized that technology enhanced teaching is essential for preparing students to thrive in a modern, sustainable society.
The Ministry expressed its appreciation for SCB’s commitment to education and community development, highlighting that such partnerships reinforce national efforts to improve learning outcomes and empower young people.
