The Minister for Education and Human Resource Development and his delegation visited the Youth Hostel at Anse Royale on 15th January ,to assess and review the current situation of Youth Hostel and to also discuss areas requiring support .
Ensuring the welfare and well-being of students was underscored as a priority, with a strong emphasis on maintaining high standards that foster a conducive learning environment. Staff-related issues were also raised, particularly around welfare, capacity, and remuneration.
The visit allowed Minister Pierre and his delegation to tour the premises, assess its over-all condition, and discuss both ongoing and future initiatives.
Moving forward, the youth hostel will continue to collaborate closely with the Ministry of Education, reaffirming its commitment to supporting students who represent the backbone of the nation’s future.
