In line with the International Women’s Day 2026 global theme, “Give to Gain”, the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development hosted a commemorative meeting on 9 March at its headquarters. Organized by the men of the Ministry, the event paid tribute to the invaluable contributions of women across the institution.
In his remarks, the Minister for Education and Human Resource Development expressed deep gratitude: “Today we celebrate not only the achievements of women but also their daily acts of resilience, compassion, and dedication. The theme ‘Give to Gain’ reminds us that when we give respect, recognition, and opportunity, we gain stronger institutions, stronger families, and a stronger nation.”
The commemoration concluded with heartfelt acknowledgments to the women of the Ministry, celebrating their resilience, dedication, and the positive impact they continue to make in advancing education and national progress. As a symbolic gesture of appreciation, all female staff were presented with a flower — a simple yet meaningful token honoring their strength and contributions.
